Washington Lanier's Great-Great-Grandfather (Sir
Lawrence Washington) married Margaret Butler.

Lawrence Washington was a Great-Great-Great-Grandfather to

The Lanier lineage is also very interesting. The original
ancestor,
Nicholas Lanier,
was a French Huguenot who fled to England. He and his
children were court musicians for the Kings and Queens of their
time. |

George Washington's ancestry connects to most of the

French Kings & Queens of the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th
Centuries, as well as a few German, Scottish and Swedish ones.
