Lillie Yvonne Loftin was born 18 Oct 1933 in Iredell County, North Carolina. She was the third child of Roy Henry Loftin and Sarah Mae Morrow.
Yvonne married Vincent Edgar "Eddie" Bryson on 02 Apr 1954.

Eddie's Obituary Vincent Edgar "Eddie" Bryson, 96, of Gastonia, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. Eddie was born February 5, 1920 in Andrews, NC, to the late Lawrence and Jane Derryberry Bryson. He served in the US Navy during WWII and joined the Highway Patrol upon leaving the Navy. He was stationed in Canton, NC, where he met and married Yvonne Loftin Bryson in 1954. They moved to Gastonia in 1968 upon his promotion to sergeant and Eddie retired in 1979 with 31 years of service with the Highway Patrol. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Bryson Husscuson and Louise Bryson Stanley and brother, Herbert Bryson. Eddie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Yvonne Loftin Bryson, daughter, Ellen Bryson Kaehler and husband Larry of Raleigh, NC; son, Keith Bryson and wife Sharon of Cary, NC; two grandsons, one granddaughter and a brother, Lyle Bryson and wife Cathy of Andrews, NC. A memorial service was held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2016, in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia with Reverend David Christy and Reverend Jim Westmorland officiating. The family received friends at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia immediately following the service. Honor Guard was provided by the North Carolina Highway Patrol. Interment was private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 282, Gastonia, NC 28053 or Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
