Lock got his marriage license on 01 Oct 1874 and married Nancy Anna Cranford on
14 Oct 1874 in Catawba County, NC. Nancy was born 04 Apr 1859.
She was 15 years old at the time of her marriage even though she
said she was 16. Nancy Anna Cranford was the daughter
of
Rev. Manley Wilson Cranford Sr. (1821 - 1889) and
Mary Martha Lomax (1829 - 1910). The couple
married at the Cranford home. Even though Nancy Anna Shelton's
father was a minister, they were married by J. W. Pruett.

William Alexander Loftin age 22 (Lock's brother-in-law,
husband of
Laura Rossie Cranford), Adolphus Floyd Shelton age 22
(Lock's brother) and J. F. Mundy. |

and Mahala Ward. Laura was born 15 Jun 1869
