The 1790 North Carolina Census shows Julian Weakes living in Hertford County.  The Census does not mention names but does indicate that he had one son over the age of 16 and two sons under the age of 16.  In addition to his wife, there were 2 other females living in the family home.

Julian bought 200 acres of land in Sampson County, NC, in 1792 from Isaac Cameron, lying on the east side of Hoe Swamp - and 35 acres on the Hoe Swamp adjoining Benjamin Weeks and Phillip Cameron in the same year.
 
 
 
Julian deeded his sons John, Arthur and Archibald Weeks 78 1/3 acres land each on 09 Oct 1810.  His death occurred by 15 Feb 1814 because Arthur bought 78 1/3 acres from John Weeks on that date.
