Prior to 1917, Grover married Rosa Snook. |
|
Grover registered for the US Military draft on 05 Jun 1917 while
living in Pleasnat Township, Poweshiek County, Iowa. The
card indicated that he was married and had a child. This
is the first document to indicate the date of his birth, 13 Nov
1892. The card describes the 25 year olf man as tall and
slender, with blue eyes and black hair. He does list
"heart trouble" as a reason to be excused from military service. |

out of the washing machine, according to a message
received yesterday from Mr. Loftin by his mother, Mrs.
