not currently known. He married Elizabeth Goodwin on 26
Jan 1741 in Baltimore, Maryland. |

In the name God amen. I Stephen Fisher,
Sen.
of
The State of N. Carolina and County of Lincoln, Labor, being
Very sick and weak in body, But of perfect mind & memory,
Thanks be given to god; Calling unto mind there Mortality
of my Body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men
once to die, do make & ordain this my Last Will and
Testament; That is to say, Principlly & first of all, I give
and recommend my soul into the hand of almighty God
that give it, and my body to the Earth, to be buried in decent
Christian burial, at the direction of my Executors; Nothing ----
ing but at the general Resurrection I shall recive the same
again, by the Mighty power of God. And as touching such
Worldly Estate which God in this life hath blessed me with
I give, demise, and despose of the same in the following
names; First I give and bequeath to Elizabeth my very

Beloved wife the Mantion
house and office houses and Imroved Lands during her life for to suport her and
such of her children as shall Chuse to Live with her
and Such other ----- or tools as is now on sd. plantation
to work the farm, also I give and bequeath unto my
children, Viz: Elizabeth Barns, Ann Morgan, Jemima Jones,
Stephen Fisher, Ezekiel Fisher, Mary Allen, Samuel Fisher,
John Fisher, Susana Fisher, William Fisher & Richard Fisher,
Each and Every of them, an Equal Share of my Lands good
and Chattles according as they shall be praised by honest
men, only to my son Stephen I do give and bequeath
Twenty pounds more than his Equal share to be given
him: also I make my beloved wife and my son Samuel Fisher and do ordain them my Executors of this my last
Will and Testament, and I do hereby utterly disallow
Revoke, and disanul all and Every other former Testament |

This Indenture made the 14th
day of September in the Year of our Lord 1813 Between Samuel
Fisher, Ezekiel Fisher, John Fisher, Richard Fisher, Jemimah Jones,
Mary Sailor,
Susanna Styles,
Coheirs of Stephen Fisher Deceased
of Lincoln County in the State of North Carolina of the
one part and William Fisher of the Same County and State
above said of the other part Witnesseth that for and in
consideration of the sum of One Hundred and ten pounds in hand
paid to the said Co heirs above Mentioned by the said William
Fisher the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged
the said Co heirs of the Estate of Stephen Fisher deceased Viz
Saml Fisher, Ezekiel Fisher, John
Fisher, Richard Fisher, Jemimah Jones,
Susanna Styles, Mary Sailor, hath granted bargained
sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by their presents doth
grant bargain and Sell alien enfeoff convey and Confirm unto the
said William Fisher his heirs and assigns forever a Tract or
parcel of land [for]merly Granted to Stephen Fisher by Virtue of
a States Deed bearing date 1783 We Samuel Fisher,
Ezekiel Fisher, John Fisher, Richard Fisher, Jemimah
Jones, Mary Sailor, Susanna Stiles, being Co heirs of the said tract or parcel of land
Recorded being had &c Lying on the West side of the Catawba
river and waters of Beaver dam in the County of Lincoln and
bounded as followeth Beginning at a Stake on Robert Knoxes line
then N. 131 poles to a Stake on the widow Longs line the land
formerly Granted to Reuben Simpson then west with said line 135
poles to a Stake then South 131 poles to a Black Oak Samuel
Thompsons corner then East 135 poles to the Begining containing
162 acres be the same more or less To Have and to Hold the
aforesaid tract or parcel of Land Together with all woods ways
waters mines minerals Hereditaments appurtenances belonging to
the land in any wise appertaining To Hold to the William
Fisher
his heirs or assigns forever from the said Co heirs their heirs
and assigns and from all and every other person or persons
Claiming any right thereunto wethr Co Heirs to the
aforementioned tract or parcel of land do forever Quit Claim for
ourselves our heirs Executors and assigns forever and from all
and every person or persons do warrant and Defend this our
Wright and Title of the aforesaid Tract of land with all the
appurtenances to the said William Fisher his heirs and assigns
forever In Witness whereof We the Co Heirs To Wit Samuel Fisher,
Ezekiel Fisher, John Fisher, Richard Fisher, Jemimah Jones, Mary
Sailor, Susanna Stylesv hath hereunto set our hands and affixed
our Seals the day and Year first above written. |
