Died: 10 Mar 1621, Sulgrave,Northampton,ENGLAND Robert Washington was born about 1544 in Sulgrave, Northampton, ENGLAND. He was the son of Lawrence Washington (b. 1500, d. 1583) and Anne Aimee Pargiter. Robert inherited Sulgrave Manor and married heiress Elizabeth Lyte about 1565. Elizabeth was born about 1551 in Radway Grange, Warwickshire, ENGLAND, and was the daughter of Walter Lyte and Ursula Woodford.
