The descendants of Patrick Sylvanus Setzer and Margaret Witherspoon meet yearly on the "next-to-last" Saturday in March for the Setzer Family Reunion at East Maiden Baptist Church in Maiden, NC. Patrick and Margaret had nine children - which resulted in numerour descendants.

The descendants of Patrick Sylvanus Setzer and Margaret Witherspoon gathered together on Saturday, March 23, 2013, 12:00 pm, at East Maiden Baptist Church for the 5th annual Setzer Family Reunion. We honored seven 3rd generation members: Nancy Sigmon Punch & Coyte, Frances Sigmon Setzer, Martha Frances Setzer Setzer, Frances Loftin Cook, Ahrevia Reitzel Setzer (widow of Thad), and Willie Goble Loftin (widow of Sam). [Any help with names of family members in the photos would be appreciated]

It was a good opportunity to catch up and chat with family and friends. The covered-dish meal was wonderful. There are some great cooks in the Setzer Family.

The descendants of Patrick Sylvanus Setzer and Margaret Witherspoon gathered together on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at East Maiden Baptist Church for the Setzer Family Reunion. It was a great opportunity to see old friends and family and meet new ones.
