George Lafayette Murr died 12 May 1932 at the age of 58 from "coronary embolism".   An embolism is an obstruction in a blood vessel due to a blood clot or other foreign matter that gets stuck while traveling through the bloodstream.  The death certificate lists his occupation was listed as an Overseer at a Cotton Mill.  It shows his birth as 17 Oct 1873 in Cabarrus County, NC, and his parents as David A. Murr and Elizabeth Rich.  He was living in Jerusalem Township, Davie County, NC, at the time of his death.

Emma died 18 Jan 1950 at the age of 79 from acute pulmonary edema (a condition in which fluid accumulates in the lungs, usually because the heart's left ventricle does not pump adequately).  She was living at 215 Spring Street, Thomasville, NC, at the time of her death.  The death certificate lists her mother as Catherine Martin, but her father was incorrectly identified by her son George Frank Murr as Joseph W. Fink (instead of Jacob Henry Fink, as you can see on the 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1900 Census).
