Jacob Daniel Fink was the first child born to David Alexander Fink and Margaret Elizabeth Baker. Jacob was born 01 Sep 1868 in Rowan County, NC.
The 1870 Scotch Irish Township Census of Rowan County shows that David Alexander and Margaret had one son, Jacob Daniel Fink, age 1, who had been born in September 1868. Their Real Estate value was $700 and Personal Estate value was $200. Nine-year-old William Shinn was also living with the family.

Mattie Kerr Fink was living in China Grove, Rowan County, NC, at the time of her death on 10 Apr 1942, at the age of 73. Her death certificate list her Father as James Kerr, but incorrectly lists his place of birth as NC (instead of Ireland). Her mother was Melinda Marsh. The Death Certificate also states that she was to be buried at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Jacob & Mattie's daughter, Mattie Lee Fink, married William Luester. At the time of her death on 03 Oct 1938, Mattie was living on Statesville Road in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, NC. Mattie Lee died at the age of 29. The cause of her death was a fascial sarcoma (cancer). Her husband, W. A. Luester, was the informant.
