Lillie married William Weldon Brown. William was born 06
May 1873 in Alexander County, NC. He was the son of Noah
A. Brown and Jane Barnes, also of Alexander County, NC.
They were married in the family home near East Monbo. |
|
William (Weldon) was employed at the Troutman Chair company. |
|
|
There were no children, however, they received William Halton
Loftin when he was about 6 months old and raised him as their
son. |
|
|
|
|
|
William died 05 May 1952, the day before his 79th birthday in
Troutman, Fallstown Township, Iredell County, NC as a result of
a heart attack. He was buried at the Troutman Methodist
Church Cemetery in Troutman, NC. |

Lillie died 20 Dec 1974 at Davis Hospital in Statesville, NC,
from pancreatic cancer. She was 87 years old. |

in Troutman, NC.
