Public Domain   William Henry Harrison was the ninth President of the United States.  William Henry was the oldest president elected until Ronald Reagan in 1980, and was the last President to be born before the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence.  William Henry Harrison died on his thirty-second day in office of complications from a cold – the shortest tenure in United States presidential history.      Before election as president, he served as the first territorial congressional delegate from the Northwest Territory, governor of the Indiana Territory and later as a U.S. representative and senator from Ohio. Public Domain   Benjamin Harrison was the 23rd President of the United States, serving one term from 1889 to 1893. Benjamin was born in North Bend, Ohio, and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 21, where he became a prominent state politician. During the American Civil War Harrison served as a Brigadier General in the Union army. After the war he unsuccessfully ran for the governorship of Indiana, but was later appointed to the U.S. Senate from that state.
