Savanna - 2018

Matthew 13:45-46
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,
46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Savanna, Never forget that you are a pearl of great price to the LORD. There is no lasting happiness in life without putting Him first.
We LOVE you, Poppi & Nonni

Your need for the LORD is as constant as your need for oxygen. So don't neglect the discipline of practicing being in His Presence. Because the human mind is easily distracted, you must keep coming back to Him again and again. Use His Name, "Yeshua" or "Jesus", to reconnect with Him. Whisper it, sing it, shout it - remembering what it means: "The LORD Saves". Embellish His Name with words of love and trust. Let your heart overflow with gratitude as you ponder all that He is to you, all that He has done for you. These practices draw you close to Him and help you rest in His Presence. Spend time in prayer and reading your Bible daily. You must find times for both of these if you want to maintain a close relationship with the LORD. Seek the LORD's guidance for your life direction, your calling, your mission in life. He knows what gifts He's given you and will utilize them. Seek His guidance as you look for the special man to share your life with. Don't compromise concerning the spiritual requirements that he must have. Putting the LORD first in your life doesn't mean you'll never have heartache but it does mean that He'll be right there with you, that He'll never leave you or forsake you and that He'll provide His Shalom/Peace even in the midst of any storm in life.

Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT)
"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses.
Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

DEDICATION

Savanna, You were the "first" - the first granddaughter - and I was (and still am) so proud of you.  Spending time with you always bring joy and happiness into my life.  You have no idea just how special you are.  May you always follow the LORD and seek His direction for every choice in your life.  May you always have a close and personal relationship with Yeshua/Jesus - He's the only true source of joy and happiness.  I love you and always will.  Poppi
