Abraham Gardner     Born: 12 Nov 1810, Suffolk, ENGLAND Died: 24 Sep 1888, Orion Township, OaklandCounty, Michigan    Abraham/Abram Gardner was born 12 Nov 1810 in Suffolk, ENGLAND.     Abraham married Lydia Butters on 28 Sep 1833.  Lydia was born 06 Jun 1812 in Vermont, USA, to Samuel Butters III (1800-1886) and Lydia Carter.  Abraham and Lydia had at least nine children.     Children of Abraham/Abram Gardner & Lydia Butters Name Birth Death Spouse Elijah S. Gardner 14 36 40 50 3 2 20 3 133 5 20 *Improved Land, **Unimproved Land, ***Value of Farm Implements & Machinery       Thus far I've been unable to find the 1860 Census for Abraham Gardner.     The 1870 Census shows Abraham & Lydia Gardner living in the Town of Orion, Oakland County, Michigan.  Abraham is 59 and Lydia is 58.  Abraham is a farmer and his Real Estate is valued at $3000 while his Personal Estate is valued at $800.  The Census shows that Abraham was born in England.  There were two children living with Abraham & Lydia: John (age 18) and Lester Martin (age 15)   1870 Oakland County, Mighigan, Census   House No. Family No. Name Age Sex Race Occup.
