Martin Luther Goble and

recollection of that name by living siblings (Willie, Helen or
Elgevia) in 2008. |

Monday, March 06, 2000 listing of Alexander County Goble Births |
 |
|
|
"Baby Girl" took bronchial
pneumonia around the middle of April 1915. A local doctor
attended her from April 20 to April 27, but she died 28 Apr 1915
as a result of "bronchal pneumonia" at the age of 3.5 months old. She
was buried at Sharon Lutheran Church in Iredell County, NC.
Only a rock was used to mark her grave. |
|
Her Death Certificate lists her FULL NAME as
"Infant of M. L. Goble" (Martin Luther Goble). They have
her birth date incorrectly listed as 14 Jan 1915 instead of 09
Jan 1915. |

As with all research and records, there are frequently
discrepancies. The "06 Mar 2000" listing of Goble's born in
Alexander County shows "Baby Girl's" birth as 01/09/1914,
instead of 1915 and Beulah Vernesta Johnson's name was also
misspelled as "Bulah Vernerd Johnson". "Baby Girl's" Death
Certificate lists her birth as 14 Jan 1915. The 1915 Birth
Certificate is more than likely the correct document since it
was issued shortly after her birth. |
