for many years. In the Mt. Ruhama records is this
item: "Saturday, Jan. 21, 1888, Preaching today by the
Pastor. The funeral sermon of Bro. William
Caldwell was preached. Text, Colossians 3:4.
Bro. Caldwell was a Deacon in our church for a number of
years. He was faithful in attendance at church
meetings until the last few years of his life, he became
so enfeebled that he could not get about. After
the sermon, the body of the deceased was laid to rest in
the grave. Many relatives and friends were
present. |
