"Jim" Caldwell, 94 of Maiden, went to be with his
heavenly father on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at
Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte due to injuries
sustained in an automobile accident. |

Frank "Jim" was
born October 30, 1916 in Catawba Co, NC. He was
the son of the late
William Pinkney Caldwell and Mary Elizabeth
Crouse Caldwell. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by BROTHERS, Albert Washington
Caldwell and Robert Osborne Caldwell;
SISTERS, Maudie Caldwell Lawing, Tinie
Elizabeth Caldwell, Berlie Caldwell
Lawing, Mary Caldwell Reinhardt,
Rhoda Caldwell Reinhardt and
Lillie Caldwell Robinson. |
|
He was a retired
employee of Jackson Buff in Conover. He was a lifelong
member of Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden, where he
served as a deacon and a member of the choir. |

A service of
remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday,
December 27, 2010 at Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church. The Rev.
Patrick Purdy and Rev. Marion Powell will officiate and
burial will follow in the church cemetery. |
|
The family will receive friends
from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at the church prior to the
funeral. |
|

1920, in Lincoln County, Vera was the daughter of the
late Ernest Otha Cline and Callie Brotherton
Cline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her HUSBAND of 73 years, Frank Leonard
Caldwell; SISTERS, Challie-Bain
Cline Beal, Avis Cline Little,
Juanita Cline Drum, Evelyn
Cline Campbell and Jeanette
Cline Black. |

She was a retired
employee of Bassett Furniture and Desota Furniture. She
was a member of Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden, WMU
and helped with VBS & GA's. |
|
