Elizabeth Ann Loftin Seese

40th Birthday

Beth celebrated her 40th birthday in 2016. Her parents, husband and children, planned a surprise party at Curtis and Carolyn's house. With a small group of about 20 family and friends, Beth was supposed to drop by her parent's house briefly on the day of her birthday. The surprise was us, however, just as soon as she saw the cars parked in the grass and driveway at her parent's house.

As Beth walked in the door, she was greeted by joyous voices shouting "Surprise!"

Family and friends from high school, church and two different careers

Beth's mother, Carolyn, had planned a series of games for the party.
This game was a relay in which Beth and Brad had to move 9 colored cups from the bottom to the top of the stack as quickly as they could.

In the second relay, Beth and Brad's teams had to stack "6" of the cups on top of each other - then put them back into one stack.

In the third game, Beth and Brad's teams had to blow up balloons and use the air from the balloon to blow cups off of the table.

In the fourth game, Beth and Brad had to wear ear phones. Members of their team had to "mouth" the words of a phrase that was on
a card that Carolyn was holding. Beth and Brad had to figure out the phrase from the movement of their teammate's lips and mouths.

The last game was the Saran Wrap game.  Brad had two large dice and was attempting to roll doubles while Beth unwrapped the large ball
of Saran Wrap - that was full of "prizes" - candy, gum, makeup, games, tools, and lots of other stuff.

As a girl, Beth's favorite superhero was Wonder Woman

At the end of the evening, Brad and Philip attempted one more game. They both wore a hat with two tea-bags hanging down.
The object of the game was to get both tea-bags on the brim of the hat.
