Ellen Katherine Fink was the sixth child born to David Alexander Fink and Margaret Elizabeth Baker.  Ellen was born 14 Jun 1884 in Rowan County, NC.

The 1900 Rowan County Census shows that only four of David & Margaret's children were still living on the family farm.  A niece, Minnie Benfield, was also living with the family.Ellen's age was listed as 15 and her birthday as Jun 1884.

The 1910 Rowan County Census shows Ellen and William living with her father, David Alexander Fink, and sister, Margaret Elizabeth Susana Fink.  Ellen's age was listed at 25 and William was 27.  The Census also shows that Ellen had 1 child and that child was still living - but there is no indication to the location of the child.

Ellen's brother Lucas Monroe died 18 Jun 1929, but Lucas's wife (Lizzie B.) was living nearby with her son Arthur Burns Fink, her cousin Viola Williams, her brother and sister-in-law Jasper and Nettie Williams.
