Adam Sherrill was born 01 Nov 1731 in Cecil County, MD.   Adam was the son of Adam "the Pioneer" Sherrill (1697) and Elizabeth Corzine.  Adam (1731) married (1) Elizabeth Lowrance, and (2) Sina Corzine, 08 Mar 1770, in Sherrills Ford, Lincoln (now Catawba) County, NC.
 
Adam's marriage to Elizabeth Lowrance produced at least one child. Elizabeth died after 1762 and before 1773. She was the daughter of Alexander Lorentz/Lowrance.
