The 1930 Cabarrus County Census shows that Margaret & Robert were no longer living in Davie County but had moved to the town of Kannapolis in Cabarrus County.  Margaret (who is listed as the head of the family) is 19 and Robert is 21.  Both were working in the local cotton mill.  Providing housing for two older boarders also provided some additional family income.
