Helen Virginia Fink           Born: 28 Jan 1916 Died: 24 Jan 1969, Marion, McDowall County, NC     Helen Fink was the third child born to John Theophalus Fink and the fifth child born to Carrie Wilhelm (Colvert).  She was born 28 Jan 1916.                                     The 1920 Census gives a good look into the life of the John Theophalus Fink family who were living in the Statesville Township of Iredell County, NC.  John was 48 and working the the local "fur factory".  Step-sons Clarence and Willie (Will) are listed as Finks on this Census instead of Colverts.  Will has married (Janie) and even her last name is listed as "Fink" and they were also working at the "fur factory".  Carrie was 43 and her 74-year-old mother, Wilhelmina (Unknown), was living with the family.   John and Carrie Fink had three daughters: Grace (age 18) who was working as a "looper" at the "knitting mill", Emma (age 15) who was a "knitter" at the "knitting mill", and Helen (age 4).   1920 Iredell County Census   Name Relation Home Own Rent Sex Race Age S/M/W Read Write Birth Occupation Where Last First Fink Jno. FInk and Carrie Wilhelm.  She was married to Horace L.
