What's in a Name? Well, that depends on how it is SPELLED!

This family probably had more different spellings for their name than any family I've come across during my genealogy research.

Martin Beverly Aderholt's last name is usually spelled Aderholt, but sometimes Aderhold, sometimes Adderholt and sometimes Adderholdt.

Martin's wife Addie Catherine Mullin has a variety of spellings, also. Catherine is frequently spelled Katherine while Mullin is often spelled Mullen, Mullens or Mullins.

Martin's daughter Bonnie Ailene Aderholt's middle name is usually spelled Ailene, but also Ilene and Iline.

Martin & Addie's son Robert Reese Aderholt usually finds his middle name spelled Reese, but some documents also have the spelling as Rese and Reece.

Louie McClure Aderholt's documents show up with a variety of spellings. His first name is Louie but often shows up as Louis. McClure is sometimes spelled Mclure and then there is the variety of ways to spell Aderholt.

Bayne Coulter Aderholt's documents are similar to his brother Louie's. I've seen Bayne spelled Baine and Bane while Coulter is sometimes spelled Colter.
