Sadie Elizabeth Loftin   Born: 08 Jun 1909, Catawba County, NC Died: 15 Dec 2007, Catawba County, NC                               Sadie Elizabeth Loftin was the fourth child born to Alonzo Lester Loftin and Ida Lillian Setzer.  Sadie was born 08 Jun 1906 in Catawba County, NC.                               (Right) Sadie Elizabeth Loftin   Sadie married Paul Abraham Murray.  She and Paul had two children, but they eventually divorced. Name Birth Date Death Date Spouse Joyce Elizabeth Murray 25 Feb 1928   J.D. Setzer Billy Keith Murray 12 Jun 1929   Betty Sadie married Vernon Asbury Lee.  Sadie and Vernon had one daughter. Setzer (Right) Bill Murray                                 (Right & Below) Sadie Loftin Lee     Sadie (right) with her sister Frances Loftin Cook     Vernon died 27 Nov 1989 at the age of 82 and was buried at Pisgah Methodist Church in Catawba County.        (Left) Sadie on 8 Jun 1993 at the age of 84     Sadie spent her last years with assisted care at the Conover Nursing Home.                               She died 15 Dec 2007 at the age of 98.  The funeral service was held 17 Dec 2007 at Pisgah Methodist Church with "Receiving of Friends & Viewing of the Body" prior to the funeral.     Sadie's Obituary           Sadie will long be remembered for her sweet smile, kind heart and what a great cook she was.     If you have addition information or photos of Sadie, please contact me.
