Cordie Bland Loftin was the seventh child born to William Alexander Loftin and Laura W. Cranford. Cordie was born 26 Aug 1894 in Catawba County, North Carolina.

(Below) Tomas Robinson WilsonAccording to Mildred Cline Wilson (Cordie's daughter-in-law), Garland sent Cordie to Millenary Shcool in Charlotte. She would eventually find employment at Belks, dressing hats.
Cordie married Thomas Robinson Wilson. Tom was the son of John Harvey Wilson and Nancy Milly Catherine "Katie" Jones. Tom was born 23 May 1891 in Catawba County, North Carolina. Cordie and Tom were actually second cousins.
Mildred Wilson said that Cordie had told her how she had worked at the C. M. Rowe store in North Newton while Tom was in the military.Cordie and Tom had two children:
