In 2004 we started the traditon of trying to get family photos either at Christmas or Thanksgivng
They eventually became the "studio-type" photos we did at Philip & Leslie's house after lunch on Thanksgiving annuallyThese photos from 2006 were one of the few sets that weren't taken by Philip 
Beth planned for a change of clothes for the girls 
These photos were taken in a "small" studio at Wal-Mart the same year
We're really crowded together because the room was too small for a group of nine people
I'm still thankful to have these in the collection
Christmas photos in Curtis & Carolyn's den after lunch on Christmas Day May 2008 - One of our first sets of family photos at Philip & Leslie's house Mom/Granny/Willie Goble Loftin joined the group for this Christmas photo that was also taken in May The 3rd bedroom in Philip & Leslie's house served as a photography studio 
We didn't do any studio photos in 2010. It became an annual family event in 2011.
We started off doing the photos at Christmas but it eventually became an annual event after lunch on Thanksgiving.Christmas & Hanukkah photos Our family got involved in the Messianic Movement in the 1980s. We haven't become Jewish, we're still Christian, but we do observe
Hanukkah, Passover and the other Biblical Festivals mentioned in Leviticus 23. In the New Testament, Hanukkah is called
the Feast of Dedication and we know that Jesus observed it as well as Passover. Jesus became the Passover Lamb that gave us salvation.
Curtis has co-led a Messianic/Jewish-Roots group in Lincolnton since 2002 called Beit Yeshua - House of Jesus/Salvation.

2015 Halloween Photos Great photos Philip & Leslie called "Princess Laundry Day" You can really appreciate Philip & Leslie's creativity with Kayli's Halloween photos, too Curtis, Carolyn & the Seeses attend Covenant Church in Lincolnton while Philip, Leslie & Kaylie attend Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover.
I'm thankful for the fact that Covenant does a church directory every couple of years because it gives us the opportunity for some great family photos.

2016 was the last Thanksgiving we had at our house with Mom/Granny/Willie Goble Loftin.
She had left her home of 63 years to go and live at Cardinal Nursing Home in Lincolnton, NC.
It was wonderful to have her with us and we couldn't pass by the opportunity to take some family photos.
